Commonplace Theology is a podcast devoted to the study of Johann Gerhard’s Theological Commonplaces. Each episode will feature at least one guest, usually a confessional Lutheran pastor or scholar who has expertise in scholastic theology. Our mission is to introduce Gerhard to a new generation of Lutherans, and our hope is that his insights will help strengthen and preserve the Lutheran church in sound doctrine and practice.
